ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

Maybe the after image effect is amplified or sustained a bit longer by
the expectation that the sky will be blue? But the after image did
fade, particularly if I moved my eyes, I could see the blue sky
"patch" misregistered on the picture and then fade over a period of
about 3-4 seconds.
