Wendy, I appreciate your offer and I'll move that we move to a temporary
site where we can continue the conversation.  

To my colleagues:  After we've kicked the semantics to death (me included),
it would be very interesting to see if some concrete things come out of it.
As Len Adams pointed out, its not about us convincing anyone that we're
right and they're wrong (from either direction), its more about opening a
dialogue.

Wendy:  As difficult as it may be for people like me, whose institution
wouldn't touch the subject with a ten foot pole, to attend, it would seem a
perfect topic for a Rap, with some more expert in the field than us.

Amanda:  Would this be something CISCOP would be interested in sponsoring?
Is the organization primarily in the business of refutation, or would
bringing in some excellent science communicators to help facilitate a
dialogue be something of interest? 

Just my two cents....
