OK.  While in England earlier this year I attended a BBC concert featuring
the London Sinfonietta under Ion Volkov; the main focus of the concert
was two lengthy works by Helmut Lachenmann.  Although in his 70s I'd not
heard him before, but he is undoubtedly the real thing.

Anyone else heard any of his stuff?
