Does anyone have a good appreciation or data references on the honey
potential of Cleome (spider plant)? I've been watching the bees work
it eagerly in my garden for both nectar and pollen.
Is it worth spreading Cleome along [little used] roadsides, patches
of abondoned land etc.? It's certainly very ornamental and it blooms
over a long period from late summer till frost. And it's a self-
seeding annual.
Thanks,
Waldemar
