The original authors you want to look for (separately) are Imdorf, Charriere, and Nanetti. I'm sending you three attachments privately. The best graphs comparing various sugar strengths, or sugarless, are in Nanetti Apiacta 38 (2003) 81-87.

To All,
I have a website nearly up, and I will include all my articles as they
get published, and all sources and links. I will let you know. It is
very time consuming to research these subjects, and I can save you all a
lot of time. On the other hand, you are all a great help to me. My
article on breeding for varroa resistance is in print. I'm writing the
article on mite thresholds and sampling techniques right now--I'd
appreciate any input.

 Specifically, I'm looking for:
1. Regional threshold recommendations (I've got UK, Dewey Carron, Imdorf)
2. Mite drop records for an entire season without treatment for
survivor colonies,
3. Correlations between various sampling methods, e.g., how does a
ether roll correlate with sticky board count?
Thanks,
Randy Oliver
