Hello All,
Dr. Marion Ellis Told me last Wednesday about the commercial beekeeper and
his dead hives. The beekeeper believes the hives died because of lack of
available water in combination with the high temps.

Seems the only hives he did not loose were those around a large lake.

Some yards in the Dakotas are not close to water.

I do not really know what happened but I can say I have never heard of a
similar situation. Other factors could be involved as Dee suggested.

I think Dr. Ellis said the beekeeper lost upwards of three thousand hives.

Sincerely,
Bob Harrison
