Well I was hoping that by having lots of red in the yard, not just the
hives but flowers like Salvia, Fuschia, Monarda, redhot pokers, and some
windsocks among other things, I could attract some hummers to my hummingbird
feeders. Thanks for pointing out an obvious flaw in my plan. Maybe
nurturing bees and attracting hummers is counter productive.
I'm open to any ideas.
