Good morning,
DragonflyTV, the PBS Kids science show, has an outreach program
specifically created for girls. It's called SciGirls and we've developed
an activity guide for informal science educators that includes 28
activities, large and small. If you're interested in seeing the
materials, please let me know and I'll send them your way (free of
charge). Several of the activities are engineering related. We also have
a second SciGirls book coming out after the New Year, so if you like
what you see, there's more coming down the pike.

Best,

Joan Freese

We just finished our second annual day-long program that introduces
middle school girls to engineering careers. I'm curious how many other
museums are doing programming similar to this? If you offer this type of
program, how many girls do you serve each year/program? Brief details of
the program would be appreciated! Thanks!
