Just wondering if the old guy had long hair and long teeth, or teeth and long hair? In my neck of the woods, either could describe many people, perhaps even including me. Are you sure you didn't find it in northern NM and that it doesn't date to the 1960s?

Subject: mystery artifact id help!!!
We recently uncovered a very interesting artifact from an 18th century
trash pit, located within a cellar hole. The site itself dates somewhere
between 1720ish to no later than 1790s. The face is of an old man with
long hair and teeth. Attached are the photos! Please help! Its driving
me Nuts!! Thanks!!
