Would someone please tell me why postings from NPS contributors (and George
Miller) always come through the HISTARCH digest as scrambled gibberish?
And, hopefully, how I can fix the problem? I use Outlook Express. I can't
be the only one with this problem.

Thanks,
Jack Eastman

You are not the only one. I sometimes ask George to send his mail to me at
another address. I don't know why, but those two sources come to me in the
same form as well - garbage.
