US) of bees from the South.
In the 'ideal world' of no artificial feeding and no imports the rate of
acclimatisation should be fairly rapid. Those bees that are in tune with their
natural local environment will produce more drones at the optimum time and
possibly more swarms than those that are struggling.
I think Haydak had something pertient to say about this in the 30s but don't
have references.
