It's legal to show the film (does not infringe on copyright) if it is a
free educational event held at an educational institution. A science
center would qualify.

I have to say as an off-and-on member of NSTA, and a former science
teacher, I'm really disappointed in their decision, and plan to write
them a letter. And pass along the Op-Ed piece to other science teachers.
