Dee asked: So can you go into more the origins of two haplotypes of
the beetle in the USA......if not matching now?
Reply: According to a paper published by Evans et al. 2003. Analyses of
539 beetles showed that the two haplotypes were originated from south
Africa and irregularly distributed in the USA. The first haplotype was
found in Southern Carolina and other states. The second haplotype was
found in beetles from Florida, Georgia and North Carolina.
