Did you attend Kirk's talk? Did he talk about overwintering nucs? I know it
won't help this coming spring, but next summer you have a chance to start
raising your own bees and queens. Either you as an individual beekeeper, or
you and your fellow beekeepers in western PA, should start. Make your
apiary more self sufficient. I know you will be pleased with the results.
