Does anybody on the list have a reference to the observed size range of Paenibacillus larvae var larvae spores? I have been told "1 to 2 micron". In the archives, Joe Waggle refers to a size range of 2.5 to 5 micron.
My understanding is that they are oblong in shape, so do these sizes refer to width x length?
