Subject: Another artifact question
Hey Guys,
I found something that I have no idea what is ...
This is a piece of clear (milky, aged) glass tubing, about 1.5 inches long
and likely broken on one or both ends ... It is hexagonal in cross-section
(exterior), and is hollow with a round interior cross-section.
Here is the odd part ... The outside diameter is no more that 0.1 inch.
The site is a farmstead, ca. 1840-70.
I can't imagine what it could be ... Was thinking hypodermic plunger, drug
ampule ... but it seems to fragile. Perfume pipette?
Would love to hear some ideas.
Thanks,
Mark

When you think of that perfect retort five minutes after the conversation is
over - that's when you're:
