Please join us in Chicago for the 3rd annual Midwest Historical
Archaeology Conference, hosted by DePaul University, 2-3 November 2007.

The theme of the meeting will be "engaged archaeologies" and we are
delighted to have Dr. Paul Shackel as our keynote speaker.  Those who
register by 7 October will receive a copy of _Archaeology as a Tool of
Civic Engagement_, edited by Dr. Barbara Little and Dr. Shackel, which
will be the foundation for an open discussion following the keynote.
