Just to let you all know I am an Apiary Inspector as well as a beekeeper. I quite often hesitate to respond to remarks on Bee-L lest someone should take what I have to say as "Policy" or Dept. opinion. Let me say now that anything I say here is my knowledge or my opinion, not anyone elses, period. Another reason I don't contribute very much is the fear of putting my foot in my mouth. I bet you've all been there. What I read here leads to alot of side discussions with list members, as well as others ,off the list. Aaron knows I need a computer course so I don't add to the excessive quotes. Which brings me to another subject. When someone writes in and has only one word or two on a line, does that take up Archive space like the excessive quotes? My work as an Apiary Inspector gives me a certain point of view of not only the industry but also some of the "characters" who contribute to the list.
