ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

An interesting GPS-enabled item called Trackstick has been introduced
that may be of interest to museum folks, including those with large
outdoor exhibit areas, like zoos and historic sites.

About the size of a pack of gum, this clip-on battery powered real-
time tracker records time/movement and then interfaces with mapping
programs like GoogleEarth to show the real time path(s) taken by the
wearer.

It looks like a slick little package for just over $100 bucks.

for.html>

Does anyone have experience using any of the Trackstick models in a
museum context?
