Yes in more recent cases, that is true, but I was referring to the original Scopes trials intentions, of course intentions unfortunately chanced with time and not for the better. Personally any kind of censorship is wrong and schools should be able to teach all things and let students think for themselves. If both sides of the equation are not taught, it makes it difficult for students to think critically about both sides of the discussion and discourse. Open discourse and academic freedom encourages critical thinking. Edith
