Oh, yes. I built 125, 8 high, Farrar hives in the early seventies.
Bought and milled the pine logs on the Sue Burn, out in BC, trucked them
back and custom-milled the logs to planks of the right size to build those
6-5/8x20x20, 12 frame boxes, with Manley end bars.
AND, I used Benson foundation, trucked all the way from Ontario. It was
brittle, and the wires bowed it, but it worked OK. Didn't know they were
still around and making that size.
