WDIL.org - Web Designs for Interactive Learning is a free, community-driven
Website for sharing informational resources and examples of great
educational websites. The Site was developed by The Cornell Lab of
Ornithology and The Exploratorium under a grant from the National Science
Foundation.
We're pleased to announce 2 new features:
Topics:
(aka Adopt-a-Keyword, aka Annotated Keywords): Is there a particular part
of the field you are excited about? Information Design? Constructivism?
Visualization? Accessibility? Usability? Add it as a Topic on
wdil.org<http://www.wdil.org>.
What's a Topic? It's a page on WDIL dedicated to a keyword, with a short
introductory article, written by you, followed by all the content tagged
with that keyword. It's a way to share your knowledge, and follow a
particular professional interest. If someone else has already added the
Topic you're passionate about, contribute to it by leaving a comment. We've
enabled an email notification system on comments to foster discussion.
WDIL this!
In the Resources section you'll find the WDIL this! bookmarklet link. Simply
drag it to your browser's bookmarks bar, and then when you find resources on
the web, click it to add those resources to WDIL. You'll still need to log
in, but the Title and URL fields will already be filled in for you. All
you'll need to do is add the abstract, description, and keywords.
Please join us, add your website, and share resources:
