ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

In addition to the original Nov. 28 NSTA response to Laurie David, there is
now an update (Nov. 30) in which they reconsider their position a bit, but
still don't clarify the matter of jeopardizing targeted partnerships nor
their thoughts that the DVD would have been of little use to teachers:

Maybe it was more of a miscommunication about how to *distribute* the DVD's
... I'm getting the impression that neither the producers nor NSTA want to
distribute directly to the teachers (NSTA because of their policies, both
groups because it would be a big pain/expense/time commitment to package and
mail individually to 50,000 teachers?).
