Amsterdam's Restored Shipping House Reopens as Luxury Hotel

July 9 (Bloomberg) -- Amsterdam's historic Scheepvaarthuis, or
Shipping House, reminds me of a Terry Gilliam vision, a gargantuan old
ship coursing through the city streets. Its ``prow,'' pointed directly
at Amsterdam's central train station, is festooned with leaden ship
ropes, waves and fish heads.
