"The world is losing its architectural and archeological cultural
heritage faster than it can be documented. Remarkably, for many
heritage sites, no survey records exist, and those that do exist lack
critical information. Unlike cultural artifacts safely housed in
museums, cultural sites are subject to degradation due to acts of
nature (catastrophic and benign), time and human aggression."

Interesting organization and resource for archaeology.
