Colonial New Jersey also had houses with interesting names. One of my
favorites "Penny Come Quick" shows up in a 17th-century Monmouth County
deed. Of course, the estates of the rich and famous continue to have
interesting names, witness Natirar, former country home of the King of
Morocco. Natirar spelled backwards is Raritan, the name of a local river.
