Dear Colleagues:
The Council for Northeast Historical Archaeology will be holding its
annual conference in Trenton, New Jersey from October 21st through 23rd.
The preliminary conference program is available online

interested in historical archaeology in the Northeast please consider
attending. We have a wonderful slate of papers, and a number of
exciting tours and workshops. They include a workshop on artifacts of
personal adornment by Carolyn White, Friday morning from 10:30 to 12:30,
and a workshop on machine made bottles by George Miller and Tony
McNichol. There will also be tours of historic Trenton, Pine Barrens
ghost towns, the Mercer museums, and Monmouth Battlefield. Discount
conference rates at the hotel have been extended until October 7th.
