Bill(Y) asks after hearing the Jolivet Flute Concerto @ sometime late?
>How subjective is CM????.
- there is only subjective, everything, always! - Objective is a
mere construction to create that perfect binary opposition to subjective,
making the latter tolerable. - Subjective then, may and may not change
with the knowledge of the subject being subjective. - CM? - The fun thing
is: well, like me, I get off on both Gilbert & Sullivan operettas, Haydn
quartets and Berio's EAM piece "Visage" - and anything in between - And I
do not feel the least contradictory, not even when I indulge in the odd POP
or Jazz record. There is too much music that will bang You on the head,
that I've lost all interest in that music which do not BANG - I just leave
it be! Leave it do be (re)discovered when I'm older, maturer or just plain
different, or leave it for oblivion..
