Another Berkshire purchase that I've just finished listening to is Jaques
Thibaud and Marguerite Long playing Mozart's Violin Concerto No. 5 and his
Piano Concerto No. 23 respectively and playing a Mozart sonata together.
All very nice. The last track has Thibaud playing the piano part of the
slow movement to M's Concerto No. 21 on the violin, accompanied by Tasso
Janopoulo on the piano, and the treacle practically oozed out of the
speakers. It sounded like something by a Russian composer from the end
of the last century. It was actually funny.
