Nancy Bunin asked:

>I'm puzzled- are there many more men than women who like classical music?

Don't think the "statistic" from this list is a good representation of men
and women who like classical music. As Nancy hinted, this maybe because
more men are in internet compare to women. Most orchestras or choirs have
more female players/singers as oppose to the male, at least from where I am
from.

>Third- I'm amazed at the breadth of some respondents' collections. How do
>they finance this??

Good question, I too want to know. The only logical answer from me is that
i) list members do it slowly and gradually according to one's purchasing
power and "urge" to purchase ii) most list members stay in US and CD prices
are relatively cheap according to income, etc., compare to that with other
countries.
