Jarrett's performance of Shostakovich's Preludes and Fugues is a rather
fine one (a little tto personal, i think) but the one i love the most is
Tatiana Micolayeva's on Melodyia. It's an outstanding cd. The performance
is brilliant and the recording one of the best i heard. Do anyone know how
the russians had this quality of sound 40 years ago? The most important, of
course, is that the work is a masterpiece.

(By the way: this is the first time i'm participating in this mail-list;
i'm portuguese, journalist, any doubt or anything you need from the "sunny"
Portugal just ask.  Hello everybody!)
