Cornelia Dean, who seems to have assumed an evolution museum beat has 
a further article in todays in Times Science section about some 
museums responses to creationist's pressures.

What did not make it into the article, unfortunately, is our 
understanding of why the general public misconstrues an understanding 
of the basis for a science based understanding of evolution.
