Dear Informal Educator,

Hope you are having a great summer!

Online registration is now open for the upcoming National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) Area Conferences in Omaha (October), Baltimore (November), and Salt Lake City (December). Eight NSTA Symposia are scheduled to take place at the conferences. These face-to-face programs include content and pedagogical experts providing science updates and related classroom activities.

* In October in Omaha, learn the latest about NASA's Lunar Exploration and meet popular author Bill Robertson featuring his book Force and Motion: Stop Faking It!

* In November in Baltimore, learn about Food Safety from FDA scientists, about the role of Oceans in Weather and Climate from NOAA personnel, and about Living and Working in Space from NASA scientists and engineers. Bill Robertson returns with his book Force and Motion.

* In December in Salt Lake City, a team of scientists and educators from NSF, NASA, and NOAA celebrate the International Polar Year talking about Ice! Bill Robertson returns this time featuring his book Energy: Stop Faking It!

Related Web Seminars will follow each symposium.

Plus at each Conference you can tour the exhbit hall, attend hundreds of parallel sessions, and meet science educators from the region.
