my wife was reading about some of the wierd politix in new orleans
construction & wondering if it could all be true
has anyone been following the reconstruction & know what (if anything) has
been done to preserve heritage, historical houses & neighbourhoods, etc.?
is it as bad as the press makes it out to be?=

There was a spot on the TV news last night about a contractor who ripped off
hundreds of thousands of dollars by starting construction and simply
vanishing into the night.
