For the op.  18 quartets, I have a set which no one else would likely
recommend, or perhaps even have heard of, but I like it:  the Suske Quartet
on Berlin Classics 0090522BC.  These players are members of the Berlin
Staatskapelle, and they do a very spirited job.  But if everyone else
thinks that this is a ridiculous choice, I won't quarrel.

How did I stumble on it? By my usual scientific method:  when I wanted to
acquire the op.  18, I strolled into the nearest store, which happened to
be Borders, and this is what was on the shelf.  How irresponsible of me!
