ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

Science centers (and others) are invited to participate in a March 8-21
international project
to observe and record the magnitude of visible stars as a means of measuring
light pollution in a given location. 

During the 2006 Globe at Night event, more than 18,000 people from 96
countries on all continents (except Antarctica)reported 4,591 nighttime
observations. Family activity packets are
