ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

It is acceptable to teach about what creationists believe in a social
studies or philosophy class, as long as you are teaching about religious
beliefs of various peoples. It is never acceptable to teach creationists
beliefs
themselves as part of the public school curriculum. They are religious
beliefs. For example, it is okay to teach that "some Christians
believe the world was created by their god 6000 years ago," but it is not
okay
to teach "the world was created by God 6000 years ago" in any public school
course, science or not.
