Dear Colleague

With NSF funding secured for “InformalScience.org: Building a Web
Community for Informal Science,” we are about to embark on a full  
redesign of the the InformalScience.org website.  In order to  
properly serve the community, it is of critical importance for us to  
hear from existing and potential users to understand how we could  
make this website work better for you – whether as a community- 
building tool, a knowledge resource, a research and evaluation  
portal, an information destination, a professional development aid or  
something we haven’t yet thought of…

As part of our user-centered design process, we would like to ask you  
to participate in an online survey and recorded telephone interview  
regarding the survey questions.  The survey and interview should take  
approximately 30 minutes.

If you would be willing to participate in this study and are of at  
least 21 years of age, please contact Andrea Patterson via email

time for us to contact you over the next few weeks.

We would greatly appreciate hearing from you so that we can build a  
better online community resource for informal science. If you won’t
