ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

I am a graduate student currently working on a thesis project which involves designing a science traveling exhibit and a business plan that goes with it. I am trying to figure out the market size, and I wanted to ask a few questions if you are part of a museum organization that develops and builds traveling exhibits.

How many science traveling exhibits are developed and built each year at your institution? How many of these are for mid-sized venues?

How much does your institution spend to develop and build science traveling exhibits every year? How much of this is for mid-sized exhibits?

How much revenue is generated from these science traveling exhibits every year? How much of this is from mid-sized exhibits?

How do you determine the size of the traveling exhibits?

I would really appreciate your help.

  Thank you!
