ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.
*****************************************************************************
At the Museum of Science, Boston, we have 3 different facilities that
are sometimes called "computer labs."
1) The Technology Learning Center: Three classrooms, located outside the
exhibit halls, where the Museum has offered various types of programs
over the years, including adult classes in cooperation with a local
adult ed organization, school programs, and summer enrichment programs.
2) The Computer Clubhouse: An after school program for teens from
underserved communities, open to Clubhouse members only, the flagship of
a larger network of Computer Clubhouses. <http://www.computerclubhouse.org/>
3) Cahners ComputerPlace: A staffed exhibit featuring educational
software and hands-on demonstrations about how computers and related
technologies work, but starting to move toward having fewer computer
workstations and more exhibits about robotics and computer science.
