I've been very impressed by the Fabio Luisi recordings of the symphonies
on Querstand. Less so his recordings of the piano concertos, but I'm
not that fond of those works.

Agreed. Try Welser-Most, Harnoncourt, Jarvi, and Stein. Don't know
the Luisi, sorry to say.
