I haven't heard Daniel Hope, but may I suggest Lydia Mordkovitch and
Richard Hickox on Chandos (with the coupling of a rich neo-Romantic
concerto by John Veale) - CHAN9910? It emphasizes the Spanish links
and is just a wonderful performance, generally speaking. You can read
