The Franklin Institute Is just completing a phased project that was HIGHLY 
successful. We basically opened one new/refurbished exhibit a year. We were 
able to gradually increase our attendance and have experienced no drops. It 
helped us weather 9/11 quite well. We also surpassed our funding goals by 
quite alot. it gives the public a reason to keep coming back rather than 
visiting every decade.

Previously we had done an addition with new exhibits all at once. While we 
did see a dramatic rise in our attendance the first year after that we had a 
even more dramatic drop.
