Similar to Dvorak, but perhaps slightly toward Mahler, and slightly less
inspired. The big piece is the Asrael Symphony, which is a big dramatic
work for large orchestra, occasionally turgid, but enjoyable. There are
several decent tone poems. You might enjoy the chamber music the most.
Start there, I think.
