Guillaume Lekeu (1870-1894). Born in Belgium. Studied philosophy and
literature. Pupil of Cesar Franck. His Ysaye-Sonate for piano and violin
is wellknown.
I just wonder what role Lekeu - with his intellectual and musical talent -
would have played in the fast changing cultural landscape of the beginning
of this century.
