Jim Svedja is a program host at Los Angeles Public Radio station KUSC.
He is one of the main reasons I listen to the station during the week.
And while he is every bit as opinionated as Mr.  Lebrecht, he is far from
an idiot.  His show, The Record Shelf (and series of books of the same
name) is well worth what they cost, he is both humourous and entertaining
if a bit cutting.  His on-air panning of Hillary and Jackie was quite
vociferous!
