I made a mistake. My 'thread' about the Furtwangler Beethoven was
incorrect.  The conductor of the set was the 'other' Beethoven conductor;
Klemperer. Details of the set are:

> CD-886(5)
> KLEMPERER'S 1960 VIENNA FESTIVAL BEETHOVEN CYCLE. BEETHOVEN:
> Complete Symphonies and Overtures to "Egmont," "Prometheus," and
> "Coriolan." Philharmonia Orchestra, 1960, Vienna Festival. [ADD]
> Timings: CD No. 1 - 74:56; CD No. 2 - 77:31; CD No. 3 - 78:03;
> CD No. 4 - 78:51; CD No. 5 - 79:04

Anyone have a recommendation regarding this set: good, bad, great,
abysmal,......
