Harri,

Look up 'Ian Rumsey' on the interweb. He has been experimenting by allowing
bees to build natural comb in stacking boxes with one transparent wall. I may
try it myself some time.

Wouldn't you do better to select the best of your local black bees rather
than bring in a different race.  I understand that the crosses can be very  bad
tempered.
