ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

...not yet gone.
Last week I accepted a position as the Director of Education at the
Paul Tsongas Center in Lowell. It is a joint project between UMass
Lowell (yes, I will carry faculty status and yes, I will be able to
get back into teaching) and the National Park Service. It will
provide me with new opportunities and challenges, which of course, I
am looking forward to. My start date is September 1, and my last
day in the office will be July 31; I will be taking the month of
August off for some much needed rest!
I look at this as a way to expand networks. I have greatly enjoyed
my time at MIT, and have had the opportunity to work on many
remarkably innovative projects. I don't have a new email address
yet, but will get it distributed shortly after I start.
Wish me luck, it'll take me all of August to clear out my office!
