I have no idea about the safety parameters of these devices... but
perhaps you might check with gizmo exhibits
(http://www.gizmoexhibits.com/) to ask.
Those who were at the ASTC conference last fall likely recall their
hurricane wind tube from the exhibitor hall, where you got hit with 80
mph winds. (Words do not do it justice.) On their website, click
portfolio to see more of this contraption in action.

Has anyone run into safety concerns with unattended wind tunnels or
tornado chambers? I am curious how much air, CFM's or MPH?, you can blow
at a visitor in an unsupervised setting. The only standard that seems to
come close to applying is the OSHA compressed air blower limit of 30psi,
but that does not help much. Thanks.
